Anja studied Law at the Universities of Gießen, Bonn and Speyer and has worked as a lawyer since 1995. Before joining the Cologne office of avocado rechtsanwälte as partner in 2001, she had already been a partner for a number of years in a reputable international law firm in Cologne.

Anja advises medium-sized enterprises such as nationally and internationally based corporate groups on all issues of corporate and tax law – in particular in connection with transactions and reorganisations. In the area of general commercial law and competition law, she advises numerous enterprises during the negotiations and conclusion of extensive international supply and cooperation agreements. Further, she represents her clients in international arbitration proceedings.

Anja regularly makes appearances as a speaker at seminars on current developments in corporate and tax law.
