Monika studied law at the university of Cologne and has been admissioned to the bar in 1996.

After her second legal state examination she started as counsel in the legal department of a German hotel company. Afterwards, Monika worked several years in a large international law firm in Cologne before she joined the Cologne office of avocado rechtsanwälte as a partner in 2006.

Monika advises medium sized enterprises and nationally and internationally based corporates on all issues of IT and Internet law. Monika also focuses on transactions in the Technology sector.

In addition, she advises her clients in negotiating and concluding national and international cooperation agreements as well as in relation to all questions of distribution and contract law.

Monika appears as speaker on seminars regularly.
