Ottmar initially studied Automotive Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich and Law in Regensburg thereafter. Since 1993 he has combined the areas of engineering and law as a lawyer in Munich. Ottmar specialises in construction and real estate law.

He is an expert in the areas of public and private construction law as well as in architectural und engineering law. Ottmar provides legal advice to enterprises in the management of complex construction projects. This also includes advice to real estate investors comprising the on-going attendance on the purchase and sale and the letting of properties, e.g. administrative and office buildings or shopping centres. His clients include large real estate portfolios, institutional investors, real estate developers and well-known architecture firms, building companies and general plant constructors.
