Veronika studied law at the universities of Marburg and Münster. After her First Legal State Exam she pursued graduate studies at the California Western School of Law in San Diego, USA, where she earned the degree of LL.M. in Comparative Law.

After completing her legal internship in Düsseldorf she was admitted to the Düsseldorf Bar in 2005. Veronika worked as attorney in the Employment Practice of a law firm in Düsseldorf and as in-house counsel in the human resources department of a publishing company, before she joined avocado in 2007.

She provides legal advice to German and foreign clients in the fields of individual and collective employment law and represents them in employment related litigation before the labour courts.
