Jörg Michael studied law at the Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, at the Brunel University, West London and at the BBP Law School, London. During his legal training he worked for the firm’s Frankfurt and Brussels offices. He earned his doctorate on a European media law topic under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dieter Dörr at the Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz. Jörg Michael has been practising for our law firm since 1999. In 2004 he worked for several months for a major London-based law firm in the fields of corporate finance, media, IP and IT. During his work for the firm he studied law at the BBP Law School, London, and has been admitted as a “Solicitor in England and Wales”.

Jörg Michael advises companies on media and copyright law, IT law, trade and commercial law and is responsible for projects and proceedings concerning these fields.
