Johannes studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in
Freiburg, the Université de Genève and the
Rheinische-Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn. After completing his
legal training at the Regional Court in Bonn and a LL.M.-program at the
University of Miami, he earned his doctorate on a comparative corporate
law topic with Prof. Dr. Marcus Lutter at the Rheinische
Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn. Johannes Weisser has been
practising as a Rechtsanwalt since 1991. Before joining the Frankfurt
office of avocado rechtsanwälte as partner, he had already worked for a
number of years in other reputable international law firms (Shearmann &
Sterling, Schürmann & Partner, Luther).

Johannes advises medium-sized enterprises well as national and
international groups on all issues of corporate and commercial law, in
praticular in connection with Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions
and Exits. In antitrust law he advises practiculary in the context of
merger control procederes.

Johannes publishes and is a frequent speaker at seminars on
corporate law and antitrust law.
